As a former computer engineer, Doug worked with companies such as IBM, Symbol Technologies, Food Lion and others in several specialized projects including radio frequency networks, data mining from legacy systems, and source code conversation from linear to object oriented programming.

Doug’s practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, particularly in software, method, and mechanical patents. He works in many industries including casino industry, slot machines, expert systems, Internet encryption systems, color processing, manufacturing, nuclear waste, nuclear power, medical imaging, healthcare providers, automotive, automotive accessories, computer networking, color calibration, vehicle tires and the golf industry.
