Jeff Kibler serves as a technical consultant and community liaison at Infobright, the first columnar, open-source analytics database. In this role, Jeff works with community members frequently to help define their database needs and the best technology fit among the many databases on the market today. Jeff speaks at many open-source conferences regarding the usage of columnar technologies within the analytic space; previously, he has spoken at the MIT IQ Industry Symposium, OSCON, MySQLCon, ZendCon, and with local groups such as DAMA (Michigan). Prior to joining Infobright, Jeff served as the data quality product manager for Yahoo’s massive audience data pipeline. Jeff holds two degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign: a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and an MBA.
