Data exchanged innocently during these transactions is very attractive to nefarious troublemakers and egomaniac hackers who want to do harm, cause embarrassment, or achieve financial rewards for selling your personal identity.

    It’s undeniable; the way we live and do business is changing more quickly than we can implement security measures to prevent cyber thieves from accessing online valuables.

    In fact, Websense reports that 70 percent of the top 100 most popular websites have been hacked either by hosting malicious content or contained a masked redirect to lure us from legitimate sites to unsafe ones. Is all hope lost?
